I want to fly a passenger-configured Tu-160 “White Swan” inside Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and feel as if the real machine is rumbling around me. The single most important piece of this add-on is sound. Exterior thunder from the four NK-32s, the four-stage afterburner howl, cockpit wind whistle at high Mach, air-conditioning hum, chute pop on landing—every layer needs to be captured, mixed and placed so volume and Doppler effects respond naturally to camera position and throttle state. Flight behaviour comes next. The jet must feel heavy: rotation should not even think about happening below 180 kts and pitch inertia has to reflect a 275-ton airframe. Manual wing-sweep from 20° to 65°, a centre-of-gravity shift that forces trim work, and a high-alpha approach profile are all part of the expected flight model. If the sim allows, I’d like drag chutes on touchdown. Visual work is comparatively straightforward: a glossy anti-flash white livery, 60-plus small circular passenger windows and a 2 + 2 cabin layout for roughly 120–150 seats. Night lighting, beacon and afterburner cones should match the real bird. Deliverables • Complete MSFS 2024 aircraft package (SimObjects folder, flight_model, sound pack, textures, effects) ready for drag-and-drop installation • All original, editable source files for sound (Wwise or equivalent), textures (PSD/PNG) and configs • Brief documentation of custom key-binds (wing sweep, afterburner stages, chute) and recommended flight profile There’s no hard deadline; quality matters more than speed, so take the time you need to get the acoustics and physics right. Let’s discuss milestones once you’re confident in the project scope.
