I run an informational website and, up to now, visitors who opted in received an “email-to-text” whenever I posted something new. I’d like to retire that workaround and move to the Twilio API so real SMS messages fire automatically each time I publish fresh content—Some info is behind paywall, and some is to alert them to buy a new release. Here’s what I need from you: • Detect the publish/update event inside my site’s CMS (the same hook that currently fires the email-to-text message will work if easier, but I’m open to a cleaner solution). • Call Twilio’s REST API to send a concise alert to my subscriber list. I already have a Twilio number and an active account; you just need to wire the logic to it. • Migrate or sync the existing list of phone numbers, storing them securely, with an easy path for new opt-ins and opt-outs. • Supply a clear, step-by-step read-me so I can change credentials, tweak the text body, or add extra numbers later without digging through code. • Test end-to-end in both staging and production so I/we can confirm messages arrive promptly and formatting remains intact across carriers. Please let me know which language or framework you prefer, and if you see any blockers based on the above. My priority is reliability and low latency—bonus points if you can suggest simple analytics (e.g., delivery receipt logging) so I can track reach over time.
