I need a WooCommerce-based storefront that cleanly organises six main categories and well over 200 sub-categories of physical products. Every item must go live with full descriptions, pricing, SKU, images and attributes so the site is ready to transact the moment it is handed over. Because many of these items can be tailored by the buyer, product customisation options have to sit natively on the product page—think colour, size or add-on selectors that update price and inventory in real time. I also sell to wholesalers, so a bulk-ordering workflow is essential: quantity breaks, quick-order tables and CSV upload capability should be baked into the catalogue. Example categories: Thermal Printer Printheads Thermal Printer Ribbons Thermal Labels Thermal Printers (plus up to 2 more categories if needed) Full online purchase flow: add to cart, checkout, online payment Very fast to set up Built-in secure checkout, payment gateways, SSL Apps for Amazon/eBay integration Integration with Amazon and eBay: products synced/linked with your seller accounts At checkout I want all the basics—cart, coupons, shipping & tax rules—set up and tested. The design should be modern, responsive and easy to extend; a lightweight theme or custom child theme over Storefront is fine as long as it scores well on Core Web Vitals. Deliverables • Fully configured WooCommerce site with six parent categories and 200+ nested sub-categories • All product data (text, images, variants, pricing) imported and verified • Front-end customisation selectors and bulk-order tools operating flawlessly • Payment, shipping and tax settings connected and tested in sandbox and live modes • Documentation covering theme, plugins and how to add or bulk-edit future products Hand-off is complete when I can place a test order from homepage to confirmation email without errors and page loads remain under three seconds on desktop and mobile. Amazon and eBay seller accounts I want this built either on Shopify or WooCommerce with Amazon & eBay integration – please propose which you recommend and why. Core website features Pages: Home Shop / Products Category pages (up to 6) Product detail pages About / Company info Contact (with form) Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions, Return/Refund Policy 4–5 initial products uploaded Structure ready for up to 6 categories and up to 200 subcategories Each product to have: title, SKU, description, images, price, stock status, technical specs, category & subcategory Search & navigation: Category-based browsing (by category and subcategory) Search bar Filters (e.g., by printer model, brand, label size, etc. if needed) Shopping and payment Cart & checkout: Add to cart, update quantities, remove items Guest checkout and/or account creation Order confirmation email to customer Payments: Integration with at least one major gateway (e.g., credit/debit cards) Optional: PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay (depending on platform and your preference) Proper currency and taxes for Canada (or wherever you sell) Shipping Shipping options: Flat rate / table rate / real-time carrier rates (you choose) Order confirmation with shipping details Ability to add tracking numbers to orders Integration goals: Sync products from your website to Amazon and eBay (or vice versa) Keep inventory in sync so stock updates are reflected across platforms Sync orders from Amazon/eBay into your website backend (optional but ideal) Recommend and configure a marketplace integration app/plugin that supports: Product listing from the site to Amazon/eBay Stock/inventory sync Price sync Order import or at least clear linking between channels Clean and professional / industrial / tech-focused look Emphasis on clarity of technical product details (since you sell printheads, ribbons, etc.) Product photos (ideally good quality, white background) Responsive design: Works on desktop, tablet, and mobile Fast-loading pages: Optimized images, clean code Clear CTAs: “Add to Cart”, “Buy Now”, “Contact Us”, etc. 6. Admin and handover requirements To avoid being dependent on the developer for every small change, ask for: Admin access: Full administrative access to the store backend Training: Short walkthrough (live session or video) on: Adding/editing products and categories Managing orders and refunds Updating stock Basic content changes (text/images) Documentation: Simple written instructions (1–3 pages) for key tasks Basic SEO setup: Meta titles and descriptions for main pages SEO-friendly URLs for categories and products
