We have a website in two languages that uses WordPress/Avada with WPML. To make it easier to look after, we want to keep using English only. So finally, we want to show only the English pages, articles and blogs. We also want to turn off WPML because it affects the page speed. To sum it up: turn off WPML and make English the only language used on the website. Fix any broken links and copy the footer. What to do in detail: As always, this is a mandatory requirement: Make a backup of the website and database, and then run a full update. 1) Get rid of the language switch and set the whole page to English. The admin panel keeps in German. 2) On the main page, only English articles should be shown under 'News Blog'. On the 'Blog Menu' page, only English articles should be shown there too. 3) Change the four links at 'Change A Life Today' to the English links at the 'Get Involved' menu. 4) Copy Supporters: Copy the images and links from the German theme and paste them into the English one. (This was done using the plugin 'Strong Testimonials', which had 13 supporters.) 5) Change the English footer to the German one. I will do the translation myself. 6) Disable the two WPML plugins and do a deep check to make sure everything is working well. Don't brake any fusion, sliders, forms or other dependencies.
