I'm seeking an experienced WordPress developer to create a comprehensive learning site. The website will offer video courses, written tutorials, and interactive quizzes. Description: We are a publisher of content for education and training. We have been publishing in print form and digital content for 30 years plus. This is anon-going business and not a single content title. Courses will be a page on Shopify with links to the actual course. Payments from customers will not be handled by Shopify or online payments as most orders are via contracts. The job is providing on-going support to finalise WordPress content on a subscription-based website. Some weeks will be busier than others - it is not full time but as needed and we hope to have a continuous association spanning a long period. If you want a full-time project that does 40 hours per week for a specific time than this project will not be suitable. We require a WordPress site hosted by AWS or Hostinger/WordPress.com or some other services site. We will jointly manage and reporting will be daily upon completion of the set task to the operator. The parameters will be clearly outlined and completion is expected within the agreed timeframe. Scope will be done in selected milestones to consider the scope and ability to complete within the time frame. Services will involve the ongoing maintenance and additional content items to be delivered for access. Theme - newspaper style with chapters, Member Press or Lifter LMS with users and passwords using corporate plug-in of users. This will manage the log-ins by the teacher for the class of students. Commercialisation at the end of Stage 1 is essential and the features will be a continual build after Stage 1 completion. First stage is the end of the scope- is to have a website with a simple paywall managed by the customer for their students. We do not need any further development until Stage 2 which will be the learning management system. At the end of the licence period - the user access for this site will be removed or unticked etc so it is deactivated. There will be time-management of these licences. Summary: the initial stage is to get the website working and have a simple user and password access. We need to be commercial as soon as possible as customers have committed to having the content in 2026.
