I’m looking for an experienced WordPress developer with strong UX/UI skills to help optimize and enhance an existing service marketplace website: MarketplaceSTR.com. This platform connects short-term rental hosts with local service providers, and the goal of this project is to improve usability, mobile experience, and core functionality while keeping the site clean, fast, and intuitive. This is an active platform, so I’m looking for someone who understands marketplaces, user flows, and conversion-focused design. Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work: UX/UI & Front-End Improvements -Optimize the hero/top section of the homepage for mobile usability and visual clarity -Improve default UI settings (spacing, fonts, buttons, form behavior) -Add a City/Town dropdown field on the homepage search (above category) -Search should filter results by both location + category -Remove the map from the Contact Us page -Create a clean, professional “Our Team” page -Fix and activate the “Useful Links” section at the bottom of the FAQ page User Experience & Functionality Updates -When a user clicks “Post Your Ad” without an account: Preserve their draft so it saves after they sign up -Remove the Messages tab from registered users -Add a new tab titled “My Listings” -Prevent users from creating multiple listings in the same category with overlapping radius coverage -Remove all current listings (clean slate for relaunch) Monetization & Subscription: -Implement a subscription plan at $4.99/month -Ensure clean integration with existing user flows and listings Content Updates: -Update existing blog posts so they contain real, helpful, SEO-friendly information -Improve clarity and credibility of content where needed Additional Notes: -There will be a few smaller adjustments beyond what’s listed here I’m looking for someone who communicates clearly and suggests improvements when appropriate.
