I need a complete, permit-ready 24" × 36" site plan for a new accessory dwelling unit that will be attached to my existing single-family home. The city has already outlined its submittal requirements, and I’ll share that PDF with you the moment we start so you can match layer names, graphic standards, scale, north arrow, legends, and any title-block details they expect. Scope • Draw the full property, clearly showing all existing structures—house, garage, hardscape, fences, etc.—and the proposed ADU footprint in relation to setbacks and easements. • Reflect my preference for a traditional design language; exterior call-outs should show wood siding and trim so the style intent is obvious to the reviewer. • Indicate utilities and tie-ins only where they affect the ADU connection; extensive utility mapping isn’t necessary beyond that. • Deliver the sheet at 1" = 20' (unless the city PDF instructs otherwise) in both PDF and original CAD (DWG or Revit) formats so future consultants can edit if needed. Process & Milestones 1. First 1/3 payment released once you send the initial drawing that meets the checklist in the city PDF. 2. Second 1/3 when we hear back from the city and you turn around any corrections or clarifications they ask for. 3. Final 1/3 on official city approval—your stamp of completion. I’ll be available for quick feedback and will forward every comment letter immediately so you’re never guessing about what the reviewer wants. Let me know your expected turnaround for the first draft and which CAD platform you prefer, and we can get started right away.
