I am currently developing a software platform focused on equine management and decision support for breeding, specifically targeting show jumping horses, applied within a real-world stud farm environment that is already in operation. The main goal of this project is to build a system that integrates a comprehensive database of horses, including pedigree, performance history, and morphological characteristics. Beyond simple data storage, the platform is intended to support structured analysis of bloodlines, management of stallions, mares, and offspring, and ultimately evolve into a decision-support tool for breeding strategies, potentially incorporating artificial intelligence in the future. At the moment, I already have an initial version of the system in place, including a basic frontend, a connected database, and several core pages such as stallions, mares, and riders. There are also horses registered in the database. However, the system is still in an early stage, and the integration between these elements is incomplete. Currently, the main issues involve data connectivity and usability. Horses that are already stored in the database are not being properly displayed in listings, and there is no reliable relationship structure between stallions, mares, and their offspring. Because of this, the system is not yet قادر of generating meaningful statistics or performance analysis, especially when it comes to evaluating progeny results. What I am looking for now is to take the system to a more professional and structured level. The first priority is to ensure proper data integration, meaning a solid relational structure that connects all horses through parentage and offspring in a way that allows accurate querying and analysis. This is essential for everything that comes next. Another key objective is the development of a stallion dashboard. This dashboard should provide clear and useful metrics, such as the total number of offspring, the percentage of offspring performing at different jumping levels (for example, 1.20m, 1.40m, 1.60m), and performance evolution over time. Ideally, these insights should include both absolute numbers and relative performance indicators. It is also very important that the database and system architecture are designed with future scalability in mind, especially considering the possibility of implementing predictive models or AI-based breeding recommendations later on. Clean, well-structured, and reliable data will be critical for this. As an additional feature, I am also interested in the possibility of integrating external data through web scraping, particularly from sources such as the Federação Paulista de Hipismo and the ABCCH genealogy database, if feasible. Regarding the developer profile, I am looking for someone who has strong experience with relational databases and system architecture, not just coding. It is important that the developer can think strategically about the structure of the system and contribute to building a solid foundation. Experience with data analysis, statistics, or artificial intelligence would be a strong advantage. In terms of long-term vision, this project goes beyond an internal management tool. The idea is to evolve it into a scalable product that can support genetic decision-making, increase horse valuation, enhance auction transparency, and potentially serve the broader show jumping market. I am open to discussing scope adjustments, technical suggestions, and establishing an ongoing working relationship rather than just a one-time task. If this project aligns with your expertise, I would appreciate if you could share your portfolio or similar projects, suggest the technologies you would recommend, and provide an initial estimate in terms of cost and timeline.
