Cross-Platform Ride-Sharing App Development

Customer: AI | Published: 29.11.2025

I need a senior mobile engineer to take full ownership of a brand-new ride-sharing product, covering everything from the first wireframe to the final build on the App Store and Google Play. The visual direction is modern and colorful, so every screen should feel lively yet uncluttered and consistent across devices. Scope of work • Design: Produce complete UI/UX assets—low-fidelity flows, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity screens—for both a Customer and a Rider application. • Architecture: Spin up a clean project structure (monorepo or split repos, your call) that’s ready for CI/CD and future feature expansion. • Development: Build fully functional cross-platform apps for iOS and Android. You’ll integrate authentication, Map/Geolocation SDKs, sockets or another real-time layer, and hook up each endpoint provided by my backend team. • Collaboration: Work closely with our backend developers, pushing and reviewing PRs and refining APIs where needed. Key feature set for the Customer App - Booking rides - Tracking rides in real time on a live map - Payment integration (wallet, card, or any popular gateway) - User onboarding & verification - Home screen with map and current location - Face-matching screen for added security - Ride-matching screen to confirm driver details - Rating & feedback after each trip The Rider App will mirror the passenger experience on the driver side—ride acceptance, turn-by-turn navigation, earnings dashboard, and availability toggles—built on the same codebase wherever practical. Deliverables 1. Complete design files (Figma or equivalent) approved by me. 2. Source code in a Git repository with clear commits and instructions to run locally. 3. Test builds on TestFlight and Google Play Internal Testing. 4. A final, production-ready release for both stores. If you’ve shipped polished React Native, Flutter, or similar cross-platform apps that lean on live location and real-time data, let’s talk specifics and timelines.
