I’m looking to have a full-featured point-of-sale application built for Windows PCs that I can distribute to my own clients. They will install it locally, enjoy a 3-month free trial, and then move automatically to a paid monthly subscription, so licence management has to be baked in from day one. The user must be able to tailor three key areas on their own—interface layout, report generation, and inventory management—without calling a developer each time. Within the sales screen the software should accept Credit/Debit Cards, Mobile Payments, and Cash, storing each transaction type separately for reporting purposes. What I need from you: • An installer for Windows that runs cleanly on standard PC-based POS hardware • A licensing / activation module that starts the clock on the 3-month trial, switches to a paid plan afterwards, and blocks access if payment lapses • Clear admin screens so I can onboard new merchants, reset licences and push updates • Source code and practical documentation so future enhancements stay in my control If you’ve built POS systems in C#, .NET, Java or similar desktop stacks and can demonstrate secure payment integrations, I’m eager to hear how you would structure the project and timeframe.
