Project Overview We are running an existing e-commerce platform built with WordPress + WooCommerce, using Elementor, Astra theme, and Dokan (multi-vendor). The website is live, but we are experiencing: • Slow search and filtering • Poor mobile usability • Complicated UI/UX for browsing artwork • Friction during checkout (especially on mobile) We do NOT want to rebuild the system or change platforms. We are looking for one experienced freelancer to optimize, refine, and improve what already exists. Current Tech Stack • WordPress • WooCommerce • Elementor • Astra Theme • Dokan (multi-vendor) • Mobile-first audience (Thailand + international) Scope of Work The freelancer will be responsible for: 1. UI / UX Improvements • Improve artwork browsing experience (collections, categories, filters) • Simplify layout for both desktop & mobile • Improve typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy • Reduce cognitive load for buyers 2. Mobile Optimization (Very Important) • Fully optimize mobile UI/UX • Improve tap targets, navigation, and product pages • Ensure smooth browsing on low-to-mid-end devices 3. Search & Filtering Optimization • Improve product search speed and relevance • Optimize artwork filtering (size, artist, collection, category) • Suggest and configure suitable plugins if needed (without overloading site) 4. Checkout Flow Optimization • Reduce checkout steps • Improve clarity and speed • Fix mobile checkout issues • Ensure smooth payment + COD flow 5. Performance & Stability • Improve page speed (frontend-focused) • Clean unnecessary Elementor/Astra overhead • Optimize images and scripts (without breaking design) What We DON’T Want • No platform migration (no Shopify, no custom system) • No full redesign from scratch • No heavy custom backend development • No unnecessary plugins Ideal Freelancer Profile • Strong experience with WordPress + WooCommerce • Real understanding of UX for e-commerce • Mobile-first mindset • Experience optimizing Elementor-based sites • Can explain decisions clearly (not just “do magic”) • Has worked on real stores, not just blogs Project Type • Short-term project (2–4 weeks) • Possible long-term maintenance if performance is good To Apply, Please Include 1. 2–3 WooCommerce sites you optimized (especially mobile) 2.
