Project Title Website Enhancement, Performance & SEO Fixes (PHP CodeIgniter Ecommerce) Project Description We are looking for an experienced PHP CodeIgniter developer to work on enhancing and fixing multiple critical issues on our ecommerce website. Tech Stack • PHP CodeIgniter • Ecommerce Website • Website, APIs, Backend & Frontend Scope of Work 1- Ecommerce DataLayer Implementation Implement a standard ecommerce dataLayer structure to support integration with: • Google Tag Manager • Google Analytics • Advertising platforms The dataLayer must be implemented according to the document shared in our Google Drive. 2- Infinite Scroll (Auto Product Loading) • Remove traditional pagination (1,2,3,last page). • Implement infinite scroll / auto-loading products on product listing pages. • Pagination logic should work through loading instead of page numbers. 3- Checkout Page Structure Fix (Google-Friendly URLs) • Currently, clicking “Next” in checkout keeps the same URL and only switches cards. • This behavior is not Google-friendly and may affect Google Merchant approval. • Each checkout step must: • Be on a separate page • Have its own unique URL 4- Website Performance Optimization • Website performance score is currently very low. • Identify and fix issues using: • Google PageSpeed Insights • Improve loading speed and overall performance. 5- SEO & Indexing Issues (High Priority) Fix all major SEO and indexing problems, including: • Broken links (404 errors) • Server errors (5xx) • Soft 404 issues • Duplicate content (canonical tags) • Blocked pages (4xx issues) • Redirect issues • Crawled but not indexed pages Most issues originate from: • beta.tigro.app • stagging.tigro.app Although robots.txt was added previously, the issues persist. A new technical approach is required to fully resolve these problems. Requirements • Strong experience with PHP CodeIgniter • Ecommerce website experience • Strong knowledge of: • Google Tag Manager & dataLayer • Website performance optimization • Technical SEO & Google Search Console Code & Version Control Requirement • All development and changes must be done via GitHub • The developer must: • Work on our existing GitHub repository • Use proper branching • Submit changes via Pull Requests • Ensure clean commit history with clear commit messages Additional Notes • All documents, videos, and reports will be shared after project acceptance. • Regular updates and clear communication are required.
