I would like to build an application that has a very similar interface as whats app to allow customers to place orders based on real time stock available. Currently customers place orders via whats app and have made it clear they do not want to switch to a website but may be open to trying an app for orders if it is very simple. We want to move away from whats app as we manually log orders from whats app chats and due to the volume and difference in the orders, we tend to have human error while logging orders. The app is for fresh produce (vegetables, fruit, mushrooms, herbs etc). Currently we have 20sku's but want to add more (wont be more than 40 total sku's). The idea is to have as much simplicity as possible as the customers tend to be older persons who are not as tech savy and mainly only use whats app. The application should be an interface were persons can simply see a picture of a product and can click on it the quantity that they want (similar to a google sheet) and once available it will give them a final total and log all the information. On the back end, we should be able to adjust the stock quantities available and see all the orders placed in a spread sheet like format to then arrange distribution.
