I’m putting together the first-release mobile app for a healthcare marketplace that lets patients and service providers—doctors, therapists, specialists—connect seamlessly. The scope is a lean but fully functional MVP that covers the complete appointment flow. Core experience • On-boarding: phone-number verification only, with a forked flow for patients and providers after sign-up. • Provider discovery: patients browse, search, or filter practitioners, then open rich profiles that list verified qualifications, professional experience, and live user reviews with ratings. • Scheduling: real-time availability displayed in each profile; patients tap a slot to book. • Notifications: instant booking confirmation plus reminders for both parties. • Session details: delivery of a secure video link or phone number based on the provider’s preset preference. Tech and deliverables • Production-ready mobile app (iOS and Android—native or cross-platform, your call so long as it’s maintainable). • Simple backend or use of BaaS for auth, data storage, and real-time scheduling. • Provider review / rating logic. • Clean, well-documented code and a short hand-off guide so my internal team can extend the product after launch. Acceptance criteria 1. A new user can create either account type with SMS verification. 2. Patients can book an available slot and receive a confirmation plus meeting details. 3. Providers can manage availability and see upcoming appointments in-app. 4. Profile pages display qualifications, experience, and aggregated star ratings pulled from completed appointments. 5. Build installs and runs on both major mobile platforms without crashes or show-stopper bugs. If this sounds like your wheelhouse, let’s get the MVP into users’ hands quickly.
