I have a crisp PNG reference image of an X-ring seal that I need reproduced as a high-fidelity 3D asset. The model must look convincing in close-up renders, so I’m after clean geometry that captures the four-lipped cross-section accurately and a physically based rubber material that shows the subtle sheen and micro-roughness you’d expect from a real seal. Blender is the target environment, so please build and shade everything natively—no add-ons I’d need to buy. A well-organized scene, clear naming, non-destructive modifiers where practical, and tidy UVs are all important because I may tweak the part later for animation and colour variations. Deliverables • .blend file with the final high-poly model, modifiers either applied or left procedural with clear notes • PBR texture set (colour, roughness, normal, any masks) baked at 4 K • Optional: FBX or OBJ export for convenience, retaining scale and orientation Acceptance The profile must match the PNG reference, lighting tests in an HDRI should show realistic highlights without faceting, and there should be no visible stretching or seams on the UVs at 4 K resolution. If this sounds straightforward to you, let’s do it—I’m ready to hand over the reference image and get rolling.
