I want my 14-year-old daughter to feel confident and even a little ahead in Maths, Science and beginner-level Python while staying firmly aligned with the Australian Curriculum. We’ll meet twice a week—one lesson in person at our home and one conducted online—so you should be comfortable switching between whiteboard, screen-share and hands-on demonstrations. Your task is to guide her through the Year 9 syllabus, weave coding examples into the maths and science topics, and check understanding with exercises that resemble NAPLAN questions. Before each class please send a short lesson outline; afterward, share a concise note on strengths, gaps and homework. Every two weeks I’d also like a simple progress tracker—Google Sheet is fine—so I can see where she stands at a glance. Interactive tools such as GeoGebra, PhET simulations, Jupyter Notebooks or similar are welcome as long as the resources remain accessible for revision. Experience teaching the Australian Curriculum (or close equivalent) is essential, and a current Working With Children Check will be required for the face-to-face sessions.
