iOS Background Location Specialist

My team’s app lives or dies on rock-solid background tracking, yet our first pass with the Standard location service has been unreliable. Even with silent push notifications in place, updates are missed the moment the phone is locked or the app slips to the background. I’d like you to build a tiny, self-contained Swift test project that proves the following: • The device transmits an accurate location ping every 15 minutes for several consecutive hours while the app is in the background, the screen is locked, and the user never opens the app. • The solution respects Apple’s Background Modes policies and survives common killers like low-power mode and network hand-offs. • I can drop the same Core Location / BGTaskScheduler (or whichever mechanism you choose) code into our main codebase and expect identical reliability. Please walk me through the approach you’d take, referencing prior background-location work you’ve shipped—experience counts most for me. Once we confirm the 15-minute cadence on a physical device, I’ll fold your implementation into the main project and arrange any follow-up milestones if needed.
