I have a STEP file that was exported as a faceted mesh body. I need it rebuilt in SolidWorks as a true solid part so I can run reliable simulation and analysis studies. Please rebuild the geometry with medium-level surface smoothing: the facets should disappear, but key edges and functional details must remain sharp enough for boundary conditions. The finished part must open natively in SolidWorks, pass Import Diagnostics without gaps, and behave as a single watertight solid suitable for FEA or CFD. Supplying the final .sldprt file is all that’s required; a neutral file (e.g., STEP or Parasolid) alongside it would be a welcome extra but not essential.
