I run a shop that specialises in metal cutting, bending and small-scale fabrication, and I need a responsive website that feels industrial and rugged—something that instantly tells visitors they’ve come to the right place for precision metal work. Core goals • Showcase our services clearly and attractively so prospects understand the full range of cutting, bending and fabrication capabilities - Stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper, and galvanized steel. • Include a dedicated “Request a Quote” page where visitors can upload their CAD or drawing files (PDF, DXF, DWG, STEP, etc.) and submit brief project details. Submissions should arrive in my inbox with attachments intact. Site structure • Home — eye-catching hero section, high-impact imagery of our machinery, a quick overview of what we do, and strong calls-to-action linking to the quote form. • Services — short sections for laser cutting, press brake bending, welding and finishing, each with illustrative photos or icons. • Quotes submission — secure file-upload form with fields for name, company, email, phone, material, quantity and any notes. Drag-and-drop is ideal; max file size around 20 MB per file is fine. • Contact — map, address, phone, email and a simple enquiry form. What I supply • Logo, colour references (dark steel grey with accent dark blue), and copy for each page. • Sample photos and any brand guidelines. You set up • The full site based on HTML5 for easy hosting and editing. • Mobile optimisation, basic on-page SEO and integration with Google Analytics. • A detailed list of all files and basic requirements for hosting on standard web hosting services, such as Google or AWS. This site should not be tied to any specific hosting service. Acceptance The project is complete when the live site matches the agreed design, file uploads arrive smoothly with attachments, and all pages render correctly on current versions of Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox, plus iOS and Android devices. If you can bring that industrial edge while keeping navigation simple, I’d love to hear how you’d approach it and your estimated timeline.
