Multi-Language Code Conversion to JS & Python

I’m looking for a highly experienced developer to help convert and modernize an existing legacy codebase written in C++, Java, Laravel, and Symfony into JavaScript and Python. This project is a remake of a game originally developed around 2012. The legacy codebase contains more than 500 features, many of which no longer exist in modern frameworks and require deep technical understanding to migrate or redesign correctly. JavaScript will be used to develop a new API layer, while Python will handle routing, streaming, and real-time data processing. The work involves converting specific legacy functionalities into JavaScript-based APIs, migrating parts of the application into Python for backend logic, streaming, and routing, and rebuilding deprecated systems while preserving the original gameplay behavior. The developer will also be responsible for selecting and implementing appropriate modern libraries or frameworks where necessary. Candidates must have advanced proficiency in JavaScript and Python, along with a strong background in C++, Java, Laravel, and Symfony. Proven experience with API development, real-time systems, high-throughput backends, and scalable architectures is required. Familiarity with streaming services and complex routing logic is essential. The system must be capable of supporting approximately 50,000 concurrent players with an estimated bandwidth usage of around 25 terabytes per month. Security is a high priority, and the architecture must be designed to be as resistant to exploits and abuse as possible through proper server-side validation and best practices. Some parts of the project rely on very old technologies and workflows, including legacy Adobe tools and web or Flash-era concepts dating from approximately 1999 to 2008. This knowledge is necessary to correctly interpret and migrate the original logic.
