I need a straightforward web application, built in PHP (Laravel or plain PHP with a robust MVC structure—your call), that lets coworkers book shared-office desks the same way travelers reserve seats on a bus. Core flow: a user signs in, checks desk availability for a chosen date and time-slot, then confirms, modifies, or cancels the reservation from a personal dashboard. Behind the scenes an admin dashboard will let me create desks, open or close time-slots, view all bookings, and export simple reports. Searching is only by availability time; I don’t need filters for location or desk type at this stage. The project ends when I can: • log in as a normal user, browse free desks by date/time, and book one • log in as admin and manage desks, users, and every reservation in an easy panel Responsive layout, clean code, and MySQL persistence are mandatory. No payment or notification gateways right now; those can wait for a later phase.
