I’m producing a cinematic, under-one-minute short and I need an 3D animator who can bring a fully realistic look to life. The screenplay is locked, but I have not yet translated it into storyboards or animatics, so your first task will be to visualise each beat from the script and propose camera language, shot flow and pacing before we move into full production. After the storyboard phase we’ll move straight into modelling, rigging, animation, lighting and final rendering. My priority is believable motion and nuanced facial acting, so I’m happy for you to lean on tools you know best—whether that’s Maya with Arnold, Blender with Cycles, or an equivalent high-end pipeline—as long as the end result feels photoreal. Please include in your response: • A quick outline of how you approach storyboarding and previs • Links to at least one previous realistic piece (short clips are fine) • Your preferred software stack and render engine The deliverable is a polished 4K clip, colour-graded and sound-ready, along with project files for possible tweaks. If this aligns with your skill set, let’s discuss timeline and milestones so we can get the project moving.
