Two WordPress magazine-style sites need a visual overhaul and, for one of them, a smooth move to a new domain. Both builds will stay on WordPress, but the overall look and feel must be modernised from header to footer. Scope of the refresh • Layout, typography and colour palette all need updating so the two sites feel current and consistent while still fitting each brand’s personality. • Some existing articles, categories and media will remain, others will be archived or removed; I’ll provide a clear keep-or-cut list before you begin. • New interactive elements (think quizzes, polls or sliders) and built-in social-media sharing are required on key templates to boost engagement. Migration details The second site will shift to a brand-new domain. I’ll supply the registrar and hosting credentials so you can: • copy the full site, • set up 301 redirects to protect SEO, • test everything in a staging area, then push live with minimal downtime. Deliverables 1. Updated theme files (child theme or custom blocks) for both sites. 2. Cleaned database and media library reflecting the keep-or-cut list. 3. Fully functional interactive modules and social-media integrations. 4. Migrated site live on its new domain, SSL enabled, all redirects verified. 5. Brief hand-off document outlining what was changed and how to maintain it. Everything needs to be responsive, quick-loading and editable through the WordPress dashboard (Gutenberg or Elementor are both fine).
