I am looking for an experienced Python developer to restore and stabilize an existing Python automation environment on a Windows VPS server. All Python scripts already exist and were functional before a recent server migration. After the move, the environment stopped working and the original developer is no longer available. The task is to review the existing scripts briefly and make the complete environment operational again via Windows Remote Desktop Services. The scripts do not need to be rewritten, except for small adjustments that are required to restore functionality or improve reliability after the migration. Technical Scope The work includes restoring and configuring all required components such as the correct Python version or versions, virtual environments, system paths, background services like Redis if required, schedulers if used, and all necessary libraries and dependencies. There are multiple customized scripts that work together. All scripts are available and ready to be reviewed. The scripts perform the following tasks Web scraping using existing Zyte API credentials Processing and structuring scraped data Publishing content to a WordPress website Forwarding selected content to a Facebook page and a Facebook group Facebook Automation and Anti Detection Requirements Facebook posting is done via browser automation and not via the official Facebook Graph API. This logic already exists in the current scripts but has repeatedly triggered Meta spam detection in the past. The goal is to adapt and harden the existing setup so that Meta does not detect the automation. This includes but is not limited to the following requirements No headless browser usage Avoidance of data center IPs Use of residential proxies or suitable residential IP addresses Human like behavior simulation including realistic timing, delays, interaction patterns, and browser fingerprints Avoidance of any indicators that could reveal automated activity It is known that Facebook may block or restrict accounts solely based on known data center IP ranges. Preventing this must be a core focus of the task. Proxy and Service Selection The freelancer is expected to propose suitable residential proxy or IP providers. After reviewing pricing, reliability, and risks, I will approve the selected solution before integration. The freelancer will then implement the approved service into the existing setup. Access and Credentials All required access credentials are already available and will be provided. This includes WordPress access, Facebook account access, and Zyte API credentials. Work Environment All work will be performed directly on the Windows VPS via Remote Desktop access. No local development is required. Documentation and Handover After completion, a short and clear written summary is required. The summary must explain step by step what was installed, configured, or changed. It should list all tools, services, Python versions, libraries, proxy services, and dependencies so the setup can be reproduced if needed. Timeline Implementation is required as soon as possible.
