I have already worked out the full layout for a combined cooling and charging station and now need a mechanical-grade 3D model that I can send straight to the slicer. The enclosure will be printed in PETG, so please keep wall thicknesses and tolerances in mind. Overall footprint is 370 mm × 260 mm. The top plane sits at a fixed 12-degree incline. Inside the body I must be able to slide in a commercially available six-fan laptop cooling pad sized 352 mm × 242 mm × 31 mm. Above that, the upper deck will be a honeycomb mesh—any clean, generic pattern is fine—as long as airflow is not restricted and the panel remains rigid. Power management: • Four vertical slots hold power banks measuring 142 mm × 72 mm × 32 mm; integrate a 4 mm flange at the base of each slot to act as a cable stopper. • Provide standard 30 mm circular holes on the rear wall so cables can exit; no other internal guides or trays are necessary. Device staging: On the mesh surface I need four smartphone rests, each 84 mm wide. Low-profile dividers—15 mm high—are enough to separate the phones without blocking the airflow. Clean exterior: No engravings, embossing, or branding; the skin should remain smooth and functional. Deliverables: • Closed, watertight “solid” model in STEP format for further CAD edits. • Matching, print-ready STL with manifolds verified. I will validate the file by checking that all surfaces form a single closed polysurface, dimensions match the specs above, and the STL exports without repair flags. If anything is unclear, feel free to ask before modeling so we avoid rework.
