I’m building a web-based product that makes it easy for companies to find short-term technical talent and for tech professionals to land the right gigs. The core of the project is the talent-sourcing workflow, but the wider vision also covers engagement, payments, and delivery tracking, so clean architecture and clear hand-offs between modules are essential. Scope of the first release • Role support: Job Seekers, Employers, and an Admin back office for moderation, analytics, and user management. • Feature set: – Profile creation and powerful search so employers can filter by skills, availability, and rate. – Job posting with an application flow that lets candidates apply or be invited. – An automated matching engine that surfaces the best candidates to employers and recommended jobs to seekers, ready for later integration with payment and delivery-monitoring modules. Deliverables 1. Responsive web application (desktop & mobile) built on a modern stack you are comfortable with—React, Vue, Angular, or similar on the front end and a secure REST/GraphQL API in the back. 2. Role-based access control wired into every page and endpoint. 3. Working matching algorithm (rule-based or ML-ready, as time allows) with clear documentation so it can be iterated on. 4. Clean codebase in Git with setup instructions, seed data, and basic tests to prove the flows above. Acceptance criteria • A new employer can create an account, post a role, and receive a ranked list of suitable candidates. • A job seeker can sign up, complete a profile, browse roles, and apply. • The admin can log in, view all users and postings, and deactivate or edit any of them. • All critical actions return the expected HTTP responses and appear in the UI within 300 ms on a standard connection.
