I’m building a small-scale e-commerce demo and need someone who can put together an eye-catching, interactive storefront with just enough backend logic to prove the concept. Scope • Modern, responsive UI that showcases sample products with images, descriptions, price, and inventory status. • Lightweight checkout flow: cart, address and payment forms, but the payment step can stop at a confirmation screen—no real gateway hookup for now. • Basic database layer to store products and capture mock orders so I can review them in an admin view or via simple SQL queries. • Clean code structure that I can later extend into a full production build. Tech is flexible—React, Vue, or a templated PHP/Node stack all work for me as long as the final site loads quickly and is easy to maintain. I’m open to your preferred framework and any boilerplate you’ve proven on past jobs. Deliverables 1. Source code with clear README for local setup. 2. SQL export or migration scripts for sample data. 3. Deployed demo link (Heroku, Vercel, shared cPanel, etc.) I can click through. 4. Short hand-off call or screencast walking me through architecture and next steps.
