This project centres on building out my WordPress e-commerce site with WooCommerce so I can start selling physical products right away. I already have the theme and design direction chosen; the files and style guide will be shared as soon as we begin. What I need is an experienced WordPress-WooCommerce developer to: • Install the chosen theme on my hosting and apply any child-theme adjustments needed to keep updates safe • Configure WooCommerce for physical inventory—product categories, variable products, stock management, shipping zones, tax rules and an intuitive checkout flow • Integrate at least one major payment gateway (PayPal, Stripe or Authorize.net—happy to use your recommendation for the smoothest customer experience) • Optimise speed, mobile responsiveness and core web vitals without sacrificing design fidelity • Set up essential e-commerce plugins such as automated backups, security hardening, order emails and basic on-page SEO • Hand over clear documentation so I can add new products or run promotions independently Acceptance criteria 1. The store loads in under 3 seconds on desktop and passes Google Lighthouse mobile performance above 80. 2. Test orders can be placed, paid and recorded in the dashboard. 3. All theme customisations survive a parent-theme update. 4. No console errors appear on the product, cart or checkout pages. Once those boxes are ticked and I can fulfil a live order, we call it done.
