This project focuses on building and launching my e-commerce website so I can start selling physical products immediately. My primary platform is WordPress with WooCommerce, but I also prefer developers who have Shopify experience for future work and cross-platform support. I already have the theme and design direction finalized. Theme files and style references will be shared at project start. Scope of Work I’m looking for an experienced eCommerce developer to: Install and configure the WordPress theme on my hosting, including proper child-theme setup for safe updates Set up WooCommerce for physical products — categories, variable products, inventory, shipping zones, tax rules, and smooth checkout flow Configure and integrate a reliable payment gateway (Stripe / PayPal or your recommended option) Optimize website speed, mobile responsiveness, and core web vitals Install and configure essential plugins for security, backups, transactional emails, and basic on-page SEO Ensure clean UX across product, cart, and checkout pages Provide brief documentation so I can manage products and offers myself Be available for possible Shopify projects as well (separate or ongoing work) Acceptance Criteria Website load time under 3 seconds on desktop Google Lighthouse mobile performance score above 80 Successful test orders with payment and dashboard recording All theme customizations remain safe after theme updates No console or checkout errors Project is considered complete once the store is fully functional and ready for live orders.
