WooCommerce VPS Performance Fix

My Contabo VPS (24 GB RAM, 8 vCPU, 200 GB NVMe) runs Alma Linux 9 with WHM/cPanel and LiteSpeed Web Server. It hosts 10 WooCommerce stores that, until a week ago, were loading fine. Now every site crawls—load averages hover around 58.52 / 30.55 / 54.25—and the slowdown is constant rather than coming in waves. Nothing new was installed or updated before the problem started, so plugin conflicts are unlikely. I did, however, notice consistently high CPU usage in top and in WHM’s “Server Status,” which tells me something is saturating the processors or spawning runaway processes. I need a Linux-savvy, LiteSpeed-aware performance specialist to log in, isolate the bottleneck, and bring response times back to normal. Please be comfortable with: • Digging through WHM metrics, lscpu, vmstat, iostat, and LiteSpeed’s real-time stats • Profiling MySQL/MariaDB queries that WooCommerce could be hammering • Checking for malware, cron loops, or external attacks that might explain the elevated load • Tuning LiteSpeed, PHP handlers, and database settings so the fix is sustainable rather than a quick reboot Deliverables are simple: root-cause findings in a short report plus the live configuration changes that drop the load to an acceptable range without breaking the stores. If you’ve rescued a high-traffic WooCommerce stack on LiteSpeed before, that’s exactly the experience I’m looking for.
