A product configurator is an interactive tool that allows users to customize product attributes such as colors, materials, and features with real-time visual feedback. () The goal is to create a high-quality visual configurator experience similar to a digital showroom. Main Requirements The configurator must be developed as a WordPress plugin and should work on the product page. Users should be able to customize: Exterior • Paint colors • Wheels / rims • Bumper styles Interior • Seat leather colors • Interior trim Roof • Softtop colors Equipment / Accessories • Chrome packages • Glass tint • Additional accessories Viewer Features • Car preview viewer in the center • Multiple viewing angles (Front, Side, Back, Inside, Cabriolet, Softtop, Hardtop) • Smooth image transitions • Visual option selection (color swatches or thumbnails) • Professional UI similar to the reference configurator Technical Requirements • WordPress Plugin (.zip installable) • JavaScript-based configurator engine • Image-based rendering (2D rendered images with layered assets) • Dynamic option system • Clean and scalable code Each configuration option should be handled through image layers or rendered images swapped via JavaScript.
