WordPress "Unicorn" for Site Restoration & Upgrades

Customer: AI | Published: 07.02.2026

My website was recently wiped and restored from a 5-month-old backup. It is currently "broken"—images are missing, theme settings are off, and it’s outdated. I need a talented developer to fix the damage first, then complete a series of specific scraping, data, and checkout upgrades. Phase 1: The "Emergency Room" (Restoration) Theme Repair: Re-install and properly configure the WordPress theme. Fix all broken layouts caused by the backup restoration. Image Recovery: Identify and fix all "broken image" icons. Ensure all existing product and site images are visible. Plugin & Connector Audit: Re-connect and test all plugins (Stripe, Klaviyo, etc.) that were disconnected during the wipe. Security & Bot Blocking: Block the bots that caused the original 503 error on the subdomain to ensure the site never crashes from memory/bandwidth leaks again. Phase 2: Product Content, Scraping & Organization Product Scraping (Migration) Task A: Add 4 new brands (approx. 70 variants total by scraping content (descriptions, imagery, etc.) from specific sites I will provide. Product, Description, Price, Status Task B: Update an existing brand’s section using scraping to refresh the data. Task C (UI Blending): Incorporate the imagery of these scraped brands so they look professional and native to my site, not like a messy copy-paste. Categorization & Tagging: Update and re-classify 150–250 product tags. You will use common sense to move "Uncategorized" products into existing sub-categories so the site search actually works. Site Banners: Replace two existing banners with new ones provided by me. Site Search: Integrate an "All Site Search" function so customers can actually find products quickly. Phase 3: Checkout, Shipping & Stripe Integration Stripe Elements: Move my current payment setup to Stripe Express Checkout. It is a matter of incoporatingteh stripe UI code. Shipping Rules: * Configure rules for 4 specific countries. Location Limits: Set specific rules to limit certain brands so they can only be shipped to specific locations as per my business requirements. Weights & Data: Update 20 product variants with accurate weight (in grams) using an Excel sheet I will provide. Custom Shipping Pop-up: Create a UI pop-up in the shipping section that explains what the shipping price includes. Phase 4: UX, Speed & Marketing Automation Klaviyo Integration: * Add a "Coming Soon" and "Email Notification Alert" for out-of-stock items. These must trigger an automated email in Klaviyo when products are back in stock. Speed loading is very important. Speed Optimization: The site must load in under 2.5 seconds on both mobile and desktop. No exceptions. Landing Page: Build one custom landing page on the site featuring a banner and a form submission section. It will look like this https://goodness.com.au/shop/superfoodrange Email UI: Redesign the layout of the automated "Order Notification" emails to include more information and a professional look. The "Fine Print" for the Developer (The Rules) Individual Only: I am hiring a person, not an agency. If you say "we," I will terminate the contract. UI Consistency: Every image added must be "blended" to match the site's brand. No low-quality or mismatched imagery. Deliverables: The project is only complete when all 4 phases are tested and working. No Time Wasters: If you don't have real PHP, Scraping, and Stripe API experience, do not bid. This is an opportunity for ongoing work
