I need a 3D-print-ready driver clubhead designed from the ground up, with every curve optimized for aerodynamics. The task is limited to the clubhead alone; the shaft and grip are outside this project’s scope. Scope of work • Produce a detailed CAD model of a driver-style clubhead that balances low drag with a forgiving center of gravity. • Integrate venting, channeling, or surface sculpting that actively reduces air resistance during the swing. • Ensure wall thicknesses, fillets, and internal cavities are suitable for common additive processes (SLS nylon or metal printing preferred, though an FDM-friendly version is welcome if it doesn’t compromise performance). • Supply final files in STEP and STL, ready for print without additional cleanup. Acceptance criteria 1. External surfaces pass a basic flow-simulation screenshot or short report illustrating reduced drag compared with a typical driver silhouette. 2. Overall head volume remains within USGA size limits (≤460 cc). 3. STL exports are watertight, manifold, and error-free when checked in Netfabb or Meshmixer. If you already have experience blending parametric CAD tools (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino) with lightweight topology optimization plugins, that will accelerate the iteration loop. Feel free to suggest optional weight-port placeholders or interchangeable sole plates for future versions, but the aerodynamic shell is the primary deliverable for this milestone. 3d drawings will be provided.
