This project aims to develop a React Native mobile application (Android) that enables users to find, book, and pay for mobile vehicle charging stations. The app simplifies the experience by allowing users to: • Register and authenticate using mobile number & OTP • Search on map pin point location in order to provide charging service at user location and its mobile charging ie user doesn’t go to the charging station the vehicle equipped with a charger comes to the user. • Schedule charging sessions with date/time slots • View ongoing charging status and cost breakdown • we will now have a screen with driver's and vehicle's info • Maintain profiles, view booking history, and provide feedback This is a pilot phase project and does not include an admin panel. It will help gather user behavior data, feedback, and performance benchmarks for scaling. In response to the evolving landscape of electric mobility, this project envisions a transformative mobile platform designed to redefine the way users access and interact with vehicle charging services. The Mobile Charging Station Booking App is set to bridge a critical gap in the electric vehicle ecosystem by providing a seamless, digital-first experience for discovering, booking, and managing mobile vehicle charging stations all through a single Android application. At its core, the platform empowers users to independently handle the entire lifecycle of their charging session, from real-time search and intelligent filtering of available mobile charging stations, to precise scheduling and secure payment using COD method and generate invoice bill to the end user. Leveraging a robust React Native foundation, the app ensures cross-device compatibility, rapid deployment, and a modern user experience that aligns with the expectations of today’s tech-savvy EV owners. User onboarding is streamlined via OTP-based authentication, reinforcing both security and accessibility. The platform’s integration with location services and Google Maps delivers immediate, context-aware results, enabling users to locate the nearest charging options with precision. Booking is tailored to user convenience, supporting time-slot selection, instant confirmation, and transparent cost calculation. The application further extends value by incorporating live session monitoring, digital invoicing, and downloadable receipts, ensuring users remain informed and in control throughout their experience. To enhance operational reliability and user trust, the app integrates and a dedicated chat feature connecting users and drivers. All personal data and history are managed within the user profile, giving individuals complete oversight of their charging journey, while feedback mechanisms foster a culture of continuous improvement. Strategically, this project is conceived as a pilot MVP, deliberately omitting an admin panel and focusing exclusively on the user-facing experience. This approach prioritizes rapid deployment and real-world testing, enabling the collection of essential data on user behaviors, engagement patterns, and technical performance. Insights gathered during this pilot phase will directly inform the evolution of the platform, guiding future development and expansion ultimately paving the way for large-scale adoption, new service offerings, and integration with broader smart mobility infrastructures. Through this initiative, the path to sustainable, user-centric electric mobility becomes not only accessible but intuitive, setting a new benchmark for digital service delivery in the EV charging sector.
