I’m building a cross-platform, AI-powered editor that can take raw footage, understand what matters, and output a polished cut with zero manual effort. The core of the product is smart video editing, so the algorithms you design must automatically: • trim silent or low-action sections, • correct colour balance and exposure, • apply tasteful filter effects that users can toggle on or off. The finished application has to run natively on Windows, macOS, and Linux. I’m comfortable if you lean on Python, C++, or a mix (OpenCV, FFmpeg, TensorFlow / PyTorch are all fair game) so long as the final binaries are easy to install and the code is well-documented. Deliverables 1. Source code with build scripts for the three desktop OSs. 2. A simple GUI (Qt, Electron, or similar) that lets users load a clip, press “Auto-Edit”, preview changes, and export. 3. Pre-trained models or clear training instructions for the trimming, colour, and filter components. 4. README showing installation, sample command line usage, and minimum system requirements. 5. Short demo video proving automated trimming, colour correction, and filter effects work on each platform. Acceptance test: I will feed a ten-minute 1080p clip; the tool should return a coherent, colour-balanced, filtered 3-minute highlight reel in under 5 minutes on a mid-range laptop.
