I’m completely new to web development and want hands-on guidance to build my own personal blog from scratch. My end goal is to understand every major step—planning the structure, choosing and installing the right stack or CMS, tweaking the design, and deploying the site publicly—so that I can maintain and expand it myself without relying on pre-made services. You’ll be mentoring me in web development, clarifying concepts as we go and giving me practical tasks rather than doing everything behind the curtain. I’m open to popular beginner-friendly tools such as WordPress, static site generators, or a lightweight custom setup—whichever you feel will teach me the fundamentals best. Deliverables • A clear learning roadmap broken down into manageable sessions • Live or recorded walkthroughs (screen-sharing or short videos) that show every action you take • Source files, code snippets, or theme files we create together • A final, working personal blog online under my own hosting account, plus written deployment steps I can repeat Acceptance Criteria • I can rebuild or significantly update the blog on my own by following the documentation you leave me. • The site loads correctly on desktop and mobile, with basic SEO settings in place. • All walkthrough materials and code are handed over before project close. Friendly guidance, patience, and the ability to explain technical terms in everyday language are essential, as learning is my main objective.
