I already have a fully modelled bottle and matching cap in SolidWorks; I now need an experienced designer to fine-tune them. The task centres on two areas: • Re-scaling: I will provide the exact measurements shortly, but both the bottle and its cap must be resized accurately in the native SolidWorks files. • Design detailing: subtle tweaks to fillets, wall thickness, thread profile and any aesthetic surfaces so the pair fit perfectly and look production-ready. I’ll share the existing .sldprt files and a short brief that explains the target volumes, tolerances and any manufacturing constraints. Once the first pass is done, I expect a quick review cycle to lock anything that still needs a millimetre shaved or added. Deliverables – Updated SolidWorks part files (.sldprt) for bottle and cap – A consolidated assembly to confirm fit – Optional STEP/IGES/STL export for tooling, Your experience with injection- or blow-moulded packaging is a plus, but above all I just need clean, fully parametric models I can send straight to the mould maker. Let’s get this wrapped up quickly. Please check the video made from 3D printing. 1. The bottle's popup cap doesn't snap shut. Needs adjustment in the circle cutout and the top so they fit snugly and snaps shut securely without being hard to open. 2. There is a gap between the lid and the bottle. The bottle's neck should not be visible and the whole thing should look like a perfect cylinder. (Image attached) 3. The bottle was made too tall. The total height of the bottle+cap when tightened should be 90mm. The cap's height is 17mm. 4.The pop up is too thin. Need to increase the thickness so it won't be transparent. The cap's surface will have to be adjusted to make it flush with the thickened popup.
