I’m preparing my thesis on a wooden pedestrian bridge and need help transforming my concept sketches into a SolidWorks model and a concise structural analysis package. Scope • Build a basic design model of the full bridge in SolidWorks—no texturing or photorealistic rendering required. • Run structural simulations directly in SolidWorks (or an add-in you prefer) covering: – Load distribution throughout the deck and main members – Vibration analysis for pedestrian comfort – Stress and strain analysis of critical joints and connections Deliverables 1. Native SolidWorks files and a clean STEP export. 2. Simulation setup files plus screenshots of key result plots. 3. A short, well-organized report (tables, graphs, brief commentary) linking the results to design assumptions so I can reference them in my thesis. I’ll provide sketches, span length, material specs, and pedestrian load criteria as soon as we start. Accuracy and clarity matter more than visual polish.
