I’m building a web-based marketplace that lets individual service providers list, promote, and sell their offerings directly to everyday consumers. Think of it as a streamlined hub where users can browse categories, compare providers, book a service, and pay—all without leaving the site. Scope of work • Architecture & Tech Stack – I’m flexible, but the finished product must be scalable, mobile-friendly, and fast. LAMP, MERN, Laravel, Next.js, or a modern headless CMS are all acceptable if you can justify the choice. • Core Features – provider onboarding and profile management, consumer accounts, real-time search/filter, reviews & ratings, secure checkout (Stripe or similar), order tracking, messaging between buyer and seller, and an admin dashboard for content/moderation. • UX/UI – clean, intuitive layouts optimised for quick conversions on both desktop and mobile. • Integrations – payment gateway, email notifications, basic analytics, and optional social login. • Testing & Launch – cross-browser QA, performance tuning, and assistance pushing the site live on my preferred host. Deliverables 1. Full source code in a private repo 2. Staging link for iterative review 3. Deployment guide and brief hand-off call Acceptance criteria • All listed features functional end-to-end • Page load <3 s on standard 4G • No critical accessibility errors (WCAG 2.1 AA) Timeline is negotiable, but I’d like to see an MVP ready for user testing within 4-6 weeks. Demonstrated experience building service marketplaces or comparable platforms will move you to the top of my shortlist.
