I’m looking for a highly skilled front-end web developer to recreate the visual style, layout structure, and smooth scrolling interactions of the website below, but strictly as a creative portfolio (not e-commerce), using my own branding, content, and media. Reference website to replicate (style & behavior only): https://huyml.co/home.html My current site (content source to pull text/images/projects from): https://tallguy-studio.lovable.app The goal is to build a refined, minimal, gallery-centric portfolio that feels as elegant and fluid as the reference while remaining lightweight, fast, and extremely clean in code so I can easily update it later. Scope of Work 1. Visual & Interaction Recreation Match the layout, section hierarchy, spacing, typography scale, and grid behavior seen on HUYML. Recreate hover states, transitions, micro-interactions, and smooth scrolling effects. Maintain the same premium feel and motion pacing. Portfolio-focused structure (projects, showcase, about, contact). 2. Branding & Content Replacement Replace all visuals with assets pulled from my site (Tall Guy Studio). Keep placeholders where video embeds will later be added. Adapt colors, fonts, and overall brand identity to match Tall Guy Studio while preserving the minimal aesthetic. 3. Responsiveness Fully responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile. Behavior should mirror the reference site’s responsiveness and flow. 4. Technology Requirements Build using clean, portable technologies: HTML5 CSS / SASS Vanilla JavaScript (or extremely minimal framework if necessary) Must be easily hostable on Lovable or any shared hosting/server. No heavy builders (no Webflow export, no bloated frameworks). 5. Performance Optimize for speed and smoothness. Lighthouse performance and accessibility scores must be within 5% of the reference site. No console errors. Deliverables Fully functional portfolio website. All source files neatly structured. Zipped project folder ready for hosting. Deployment instructions (how to host on Lovable or any other platform). Short README explaining: Folder structure Where/how to replace projects and videos in the future. Live demo link for review before final handoff. Acceptance Criteria Structure and interactions closely match the reference once my assets are placed. Fully responsive and smooth across all screen sizes. Clean code with no errors. Lighthouse scores within acceptable range (±5% of original). Notes This is strictly a portfolio project, not an online store. Minimal, elegant presentation is more important than flashy features. I’m open to subtle creative improvements if they align with the overall premium aesthetic.
