We are looking for a skilled full-stack web developer (or team) to build a custom, scalable website for a growing children’s entertainment company. The platform will combine a digital ticketing system and an e-commerce shop for physical products. The website will serve multiple indoor locations under different entertainment sub-brands, and will allow parents to purchase entry tickets and products in one place. --- ## DIGITAL TICKETING SYSTEM - Sell digital tickets: - Single entry - Multi-entry packages (e.g., 3 visits) - Time-limited passes (e.g., valid for 7 days) - Generate **unique QR codes** per ticket - **Send tickets** via: - Email (default) - WhatsApp (optional, via Twilio or similar API) - QR Code Scanner: - Simple mobile interface for gate staff - Can validate and track ticket usage - Ability to restrict where each ticket can be used (brand/location-specific) - Admin can define if the same code is reusable (e.g., 3-visit code = one QR scanned multiple times) - Scanning history + balance visible in dashboard --- ## USER ACCOUNTS - Parents create account and: - Add children names/ages - View all their purchased tickets and shop orders - Re-download QR codes - See visit balance & ticket usage history - Notifications on: - Purchase confirmation - Ticket usage or expiry (optional) --- ## E-COMMERCE SECTION - Separate “Shop” tab for selling: - Toys - Games - Educational items - Merchandise - Product pages to include: - Image gallery - Description - Price - Stock availability - Related products - Cart & checkout process - Local shipping (within Kuwait only) - Track order status --- ## ADMIN PANEL FEATURES - Manage tickets and user database - View QR scans and ticket usage - Add/edit/delete products in shop - Fulfill orders - Control which brands accept which tickets - Export reports: - Ticket sales - Visitor stats - Shop orders - Grant permissions to staff (e.g., QR code scanner only access) --- ## SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS - Responsive design (mobile/tablet/desktop) - Multilingual (Arabic + English) - Online payment gateway integration: - Knet - Visa/MasterCard - Fast loading performance - Built to allow mobile app integration in future - Modular architecture --- ## TECHNOLOGY - Preferred tech stacks: - Laravel / Node.js / Next.js / React / Vue – open to discussion - Hosting will be provided by client - Developer must offer code handover and basic documentation --- ## PROJECT BACKGROUND We operate several entertainment locations for children.
