I am looking for an experienced WordPress/WooCommerce and payment integration developer to build a custom WooCommerce–Stripe plugin with advanced features. The plugin should go beyond the standard Stripe integration and include the following core requirements: Core Features: • On-site Stripe Elements / Payment Intents integration (fully inline, no redirects). • Proxy Layer for API Requests → All Stripe API calls and webhook events should pass through a proxy/secondary domain for enhanced security and isolation. • Multi-Account Routing → Transactions distributed in a round-robin sequence, with automatic failover in case one account is unavailable. • Admin Panel in WooCommerce to: • Add/Remove multiple Stripe accounts • Enable/Disable accounts individually • Reorder routing logic • Monitor transaction logs & proxy status • Secure Metadata Handling → Only generic descriptors sent to Stripe (e.g. “Digital Package”), while full order details remain on the main WooCommerce site. • Complete Documentation & Runbook → Clear setup guide for plugin installation, proxy configuration, and adding new accounts/domains in the future. • Testing & Demo → Full on-site checkout demo including 3D Secure authentication across browsers and devices before handover. Infrastructure Requirements: • Each Stripe account will be linked to its own dedicated domain + VPS. • Each domain will host a simple WordPress cover site (so it looks like a normal website), with the proxy layer handling Stripe requests behind the scenes. What I Will Provide: • WooCommerce staging environment • Domains + VPS access for proxy endpoints (with WordPress pre-installed) • Stripe test keys (and later live keys for final testing) Deliverables: • Fully functional WooCommerce plugin with proxy + multi-account routing • Admin panel with full control of accounts, routing, and logs • Deployment documentation (step-by-step) • Final working demo proving end-to-end transactions including 3DS Preferred Developer: • Strong experience in WooCommerce plugin development • Previous Stripe API integration projects • Knowledge of proxy, API security, and scalable architecture • Able to deliver clean, maintainable, and future-proof code
