I’m building a web application with a React (web) front-end, a Django REST back-end, and AWS for hosting and CI/CD. The core task at this stage is to wire in one or more third-party APIs so data flows cleanly from the external service, through Django, and up to the React interface. You’ll work in my existing Git repo (GitHub), create clean, well-documented endpoints, handle any required auth keys or webhooks, and make sure responses render smoothly in the UI. AWS resources—API Gateway, Lambda or EC2, and RDS—are already provisioned; I simply need the integration logic, error handling, and a small demo page that proves everything works end-to-end. Deliverables • Django views/serializers for the chosen API • React components/services that consume those endpoints • Infrastructure updates (if needed) via Terraform or CloudFormation • A short README explaining setup, environment variables, and test commands Code should follow PEP 8 and ESLint standards, include unit tests where practical, and be pushed via pull request for review. Once merged and deployed to the dev environment, I’ll test live calls; successful responses complete the milestone.
