I’m running a VPS with cPanel where an empty PHP site currently sits under the wrong primary domain. I need that situation reversed: • Make the parked/secondary domain the new primary for the account and point the site’s document root to it. • Downgrade the present primary to an addon/secondary domain (the host allows this). • Apply the registrar-issued commercial SSL certificates to both domains and confirm they pass validation. • Reset each domain to the host’s default nameservers, checking propagation and resolving any mixed-content issues. No databases need touching, backups run automatically, and there’s no CMS—just a straightforward PHP stack. Once everything resolves cleanly over HTTPS I’m happy; a small app install can follow later but isn’t part of this task.
