The website for my digital art gallery is partly built—about one-quarter of the pages are live with basic copy on the Home, Blog, and About sections—but the overall look is still rough. I now want to elevate every screen into a classic, elegant experience that feels curated and serene, using a soft pastel palette as the main colour mood. Here’s the current state: • Domain and hosting are in place. • Core pages have placeholder text and a simple theme. • Navigation, basic blog structure, and a few product/gallery items are already set up. What I need from you: • Refine the existing pages so typography, spacing, and imagery all speak the language of a high-end gallery. • Design and build any extra sections needed for a seamless visitor journey—think detailed artwork pages, an intuitive archive, or even artist spotlights and a contact flow if you believe they will enhance the story. • Apply a cohesive pastel colour scheme, ensuring each shade complements artwork photographs without overpowering them. • Deliver responsive layouts that look polished on mobile, tablet, and desktop. • Hand over clean, well-commented code or theme files so I can update text and images later without heavy dev work. I’m platform-agnostic; the site currently runs on a standard squarespace install, but I’m open to shifts in theme, custom CSS, or lightweight page-builder tools if they help achieve a timeless, gallery-grade finish.
