About the Engagement We are looking for a freelance Application Developer / Analyst to support the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise applications. This engagement is ideal for a motivated independent developer with hands-on experience in C# and Python, exposure to financial services systems, and the ability to work closely with business and technical stakeholders. You’ll contribute to high-impact projects, applying object-oriented design principles to deliver scalable, maintainable, and performance-driven solutions in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Design, develop, and enhance applications using C# (.NET) and Python Apply object-oriented programming (OOP) and design best practices Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to clarify requirements Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems Write clean, well-documented, and testable code Participate in code reviews and technical discussions Work effectively in a hybrid model (NYC onsite collaboration with remote flexibility) Required Skills & Experience 1–3 years of professional software development experience (contract or full-time) Strong hands-on experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem Working knowledge of Python for application development or scripting Solid understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns Experience in financial services, fintech, or data-driven applications is a plus Strong communication skills and ability to work independently as a contractor Proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative mindset
