I have just upgraded my site to Joomla 4.4.13 and, since that move, VirtueMart will no longer let me attach images to newly created products. Strangely, I can still upload the very same image to an existing product and it is resized and displayed correctly, so the media folder permissions and thumbnail generation appear fine. There are no error messages at any point in the workflow—the upload window simply closes and the image never attaches. I also have not installed or updated any other extensions or plugins, so the problem looks isolated to the core VirtueMart + Joomla update. What I need from you • Diagnose the root cause inside Joomla 4.4.13 / VirtueMart (component conflicts, missing table fields, media path issues, CSRF token mismatch—whatever it is). • Apply the fix so I can add images to brand-new products again without touching existing data or breaking other functionality. • Document the steps you took so I can repeat them on staging and future upgrades.
