I’m running WPForms 1.9.8.7 and submission notifications have stopped reaching any mailbox. I’ve already tried the typical fixes—resaving settings, disabling/reenabling notifications, even brief plugin deactivations—but nothing held. Multiple other plugins are active, so a conflict is possible, and custom SMTP or other mail routing was never configured. The goal is a stable repair that restores all outgoing notification emails while keeping the current reCAPTCHA fully operational. Deliverables • Pinpoint the root cause of the failed notifications (server email limits, SMTP misconfiguration, plugin clash, etc.) • Apply a permanent solution so test submissions consistently arrive in my inbox • Preserve WPForms 1.9.8.7 and its CAPTCHA exactly as they are—no CAPTCHA removal or degradation • Do not remove any plugins that are being used on the site. • Provide a concise report of the changes for future reference WordPress admin access and live test email addresses will be provided as soon as we start. If additional tools like WP Mail SMTP or minor DNS edits are required, we may need hand holding before implementation.
