High-Precision Art Prototype 3D Print

I have several intricate, hand-sculpted art pieces that must be transformed into accurate digital models and then into physical resin prototypes. Every delicate groove, fold, and undercut needs to survive the journey from sculpture to scan to print so I can evaluate scale and balance before committing to full production. Here’s what the work involves: • Capture high-resolution 3D scans of each piece at sub-millimetre accuracy, delivering both the aligned point-clouds and clean, watertight meshes. • Refine the geometry—remove artefacts, preserve texture, optimise topology—and supply print-ready STL/OBJ files alongside the raw data. • Produce resin or SLS prints at 50–100 µm layer height, matching the original dimensions within ±0.1 mm. • Package and ship the finished prototypes safely. A structured-light or laser scanner such as Artec, EinScan, or FARO, followed by mesh editing in Geomagic, PolyWorks, MeshLab, or ZBrush will suit the task; prints from Formlabs, Anycubic, Stratasys, or equivalent SLA/SLS machines are ideal. Acceptance criteria • Visual side-by-side match between the original sculpture and the print. • Files pass Netfabb repair with no non-manifold edges. • Dimensional checks fall inside the ±0.1 mm tolerance. Please let me know which scanner and printer you plan to use and your estimated turnaround per piece. I’m eager to see these sculptures captured in digital form and held in hand as precision prototypes.
