I’m rebuilding our residential golf course development online presence from the ground up with one clear objective: sell available lots as quickly and seamlessly as possible. To do that, the new site needs to look and feel as high-end as the neighborhood itself—modern, bold, and unmistakably premium—while guiding visitors straight to an interactive map that does the heavy lifting. Core experience The map must be the star of the show. Each lot should be clickable, instantly revealing its availability status, up-to-the-minute price, a concise yet detailed description, the assigned builder company, and the architectural styles that can be constructed there. Think Mapbox, Leaflet, or a comparable JavaScript framework rendered responsively on desktop and mobile. Visual direction A minimalist design language, oversized high-quality imagery, and sleek typography need to set the tone. White space and strong color blocking should convey exclusivity rather than clutter, and subtle micro-interactions will keep the interface feeling alive without distraction. Key deliverables • Fully responsive website developed on a scalable CMS or modern front-end stack • Custom interactive lot map with the data points listed above and a straightforward way for our team to update statuses and prices • Page templates for home, amenities, lifestyle gallery, and a news/updates section • Performance-optimized imagery, typography, and animations that meet Google Core Web Vitals • Launch support and concise documentation on maintaining the map and content Acceptance criteria 1. Clicking any lot loads its data in <300 ms on a 4G connection. 2. All content, including map data, is editable by non-technical staff from the back-end. 3. Site scores 90+ on Google PageSpeed for both mobile and desktop. 4. Design passes WCAG AA color-contrast checks to ensure accessibility without sacrificing the high-end aesthetic. If you have a portfolio that proves you can merge polished design with sophisticated map functionality, I’d love to see it and discuss timelines for getting this live. Here is the current website - Keep the Logo, and Redesign. Use Map on There as interactive map. https://www.whiskeyjackresort.com/
